BoxyCharm ~ June Review

Okay, so I basically broke down all the details of the June BoxyCharm in my Spoiler Post HERE, but I still wanted to share my unboxing with you!

Boxycharm is a beauty subscription box which includes a variety of brands and products in both the drugstore and high-end/specialty store categories. In the past, I’ve received nail polish removers, lipstick, yummy scented lotion and much more, so I had high hopes for my June box!

This month, they included an information card with all the details on the products, PLUS a 20% off promo code to use at Tarte and some background details on the brand new Revlon Fiber Lash Mascara (which was included in this box!)

First up we have Tarte Blushing Bride Cheek Stain which is a beautiful rosy pink cream blush and definitely my favorite item in the June Box! You can use it over foundation/powder in place of a powder bronzer or blush by swiping on for a rosy glow. Best of all, this item is worth $30, so it pays for the entire BoxyCharm box and more!

Next is Tarina Tarantino Eye Dream Hyperlight, which is a new brand to me, and definitely exciting to try out. This product comes in a universal light shade to brighten and reduce the appearance of dark circles or discoloration under your eye area. I’ve varied between other concealing and highlighting products like Benefit FakeUp, Almay Undereye Concealer, Benefit Watts Up and various others, and so it will be nice to compare this and see how it olds up. ($22 Value)

I’m not huge on getting nail polish, just because I own about 50 bottles/colors already, but I do like the color combination of this STRANGEBEAUTIFUL Nail Lacquer DuoOne is a robins egg blue and the other is more of a shimmering gold, both good summer colors! ($18 Value)

They must really be loving Tarina Tarantino this month, because they also threw in a Tarina Tarantino Eye Dream HyperLiner! This bold royal-navy blue called “Cute Robot” is a smooth WATERPROOF eyeliner pencil made with jojoba oil and vitamin E that will not drag or pull skin. I like it because I actually don’t have any eyeliner pencils in this color and it glides on easily. ($15 Value)

The final item is brand new and just hit the shelves! This Revlon Bold Lacquer Mascara is a fiber mascara, meaning you swipe on a few coats of this mascara and it attaches little fibers to your lashes, giving you intense volume and length in one formula. Even though it’s a drugstore brand, I’m excited to try as I love Revlon! (Value $8)

All in all, I LOVED my June BoxyCharm! As I mentioned before, my favorite item is the Tarte Cheek Color, but I can’t wait to start using my eyeliner, eye brightener and mascara too!

What do you think about this box?  Sign up for your own Boxycharm by clicking here! They cost only $21 per month (which is the same as Glossybox) for a value of over $90,  If you sign up within the month of June, you will get the June Box (as long as it doesn’t sell out). Plus, See last month’s review here.
