Degustabox is a monthly food-based subscription box that brings your favorite snacks and ingredients to your doorstep. The subscription costs $19.99 per month for a box filled with 10-15 products and goodies!
First look at the January box, which has the information sheet on top. This shows all of the products featured in this month’s box, as well as some recipes and coupons.
Now onto the good stuff!
There’s nothing better than a salad with roasted red peppers, Italian cheeses, meats and these cheesy Cello Whisps crisps! Okay, maybe putting them in some hot, soup. But, hands down, these are delicious and I’d totally buy again.
I love popcorn, so this box of Jolly Time Healthy Pop Buttery Popcorn was perfect! It’s my go-to snack when I want something salty and savory that isn’t too heavy or high in calories.
Unfortunately, I’m not a huge fan of ginger, however I have read up that honey and ginger (combined with hot water and lemon) can be a miracle cure to colds and other sicknesses. Therefore, I’ll use these Prince of Peace Ginger Honey Crystals as needed, but wouldn’t go out on my way to purchase these.
While these Welch’s Fruit ‘n Yogurt Snacks seem more aimed toward children, these aren’t too bad for snacking on! They feel healthier than having candy or energy bars as a snack, and come in portioned packs.
I am loving these little Go Organically Fruit Snacks! They are delicious little sets of about a dozen fruity gummies per pack.
I found it a bit odd to get this box of Hungry Jack Pumpkin Spice Complete Mix in January as it is more of a fall flavor. Luckily, I do love pumpkin spice, so I will find myself making these on the weekends every now and then.
I have a weird relationship with aloe… I love it on sunburn, after waxing, etc, but I just don’t love consuming it. Mixed with cantaloupe, I passed this bottle of Alo Light Cucumber Cantaloupe Refresh off to K to have.
I love Indian food, so this McDonnells Korma Mix was a win for me. I created a chickpea and vegetable creamy coconut curry by sautéing up my ingredients and following the recipe on the back of this.
There was just one pack of these Entenmann’s Little Bites Party Cakes in my Degustabox, which always makes me think they were a last minute addition. However, I do love these and they remind me of my childhood!
This nut-free, gluten-free, soy-free, non-GMO and vegan Live Smart Kids Bar was pretty good! I received the S’mores flavor, and while it wasn’t like eating a candy bar, it also wasn’t gritty like some of those other health and protein bars.
Finally, there was a sample of One & Done Seasoning Mix, a unique salt-free seasoning mix. While this was an added value, I definitely see myself using it to season chicken one night!
All in all, this was a pretty interesting Degustabox! While it wasn’t my favorite box, it did have some great items such as the Cello Whisps and Go Organically Fruit Snacks.
