Degustabox is a yummy monthly subscription box that brings your favorite food and snacks to your doorstep. The subscription costs $19.99 per month (with free shipping, woo!) and contains 10-15 edible goodies!
This month’s wrapping is cute, with a little “Seasons Eatings” sticker instead of the usual sticker.
For the holiday season, they sent some cute and fun holiday tags to use on your presents, as well as some recipe cards.
I LOVE to bake, often from scratch, but occasionally need a little help. This Pillsbury Purely Simple White Cake Mix and Buttercream Frosting is perfect for when you need to make some birthday or last-minute cupcakes! Super easy, and so delicious! Best of all, you can always add in sprinkles, fruit, chocolate chips or other add-ins to really mix it up.
Recently, some brand promoters were handing out boxes of these Chips Ahoy Cinnamon Sugar Thins near my office, so I’ve actually tried these before. They’re so different from a classic Chips Ahoy cookie, with a crisp crunch and bite and cinnamon-sweet flavor, and best of all, you can eat them guilt-free as 4 cookies have 150 calories.
These Loacker Gran Patisserie in Crème Noisette and Cappuccino are chocolate covered wafers, each with a specific flavor added in. I’m not super obsessed with chocolate, but like to snack on it here and there when the craving hits.
Everyone’s box came with either Wise Popcorn in White Cheddar or Butter, and I’m definitely happy to have received the White Cheddar flavor! This was one of my favorites growing up and still is great for snacking on while watching a movie.
As a big tea drinker, I need to have honey on hand, so these Honey Acres Honey Straws are great for keeping at work, or using at home to add in a unique flavor. They came in a variety pack including classic honey, lemon, orange, raspberry and mint chocolate. While mint chocolate sounds a bit odd, the others sound delicious!
I’ve also recently been fighting off a cold, so these Ricola Honey Herb Lozenges hit the spot for me. I love honey and lemon flavored teas and cough supplements/lozenges, so would definitely recommend. They’re almost as good as the honey-filled ones we received a few months ago.
I love pairing up dips, spreads and jams with cheeses, crackers, meats and other snacks so I was excited to see Smuckers Fruit & Honey Fruit Spread in Strawberry Jalapeno in my Degustabox. I can totally see myself following the recipe for baked brie, or pairing with cheddar and triscuits for a great savory and sweet snack.
If you’re a fan of Easy Mac, this Urbane Grain 3 Minute Meal in Beef Burgundy will be right up your alley. This instant, microwavable lunch is made up of ancient grains, amaranth, sorghum and barley with up to 9 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber. I can’t see myself eating this often, but definitely when I’m in a rush, or stocking at the office for a busy day.
I love corn nuts and other fun snacks, so these Simply Peppered Kala Beans were really up my alley. They are simply roasted fava beans flavored with sea salt and black pepper, and it’s easy to eat the whole bag in one sitting!
Good Thins Sweet Oat & Flax are made with real oats and flax! These crispy crackers are great for adding to your cheese plate or snacking on when you want to fulfill a craving but also stay healthy.
I really enjoyed this Degustabox, especially with the Pillsbury cake and frosting mix, the honey straws and the Smuckers fruit and honey spread! It was nice to get a variety of items, from sweet to savory, some you have to make and some you can eat right out of the bag!
