KlutchClub ~ Best of Box (Women’s)

image

So recently, KlutchClub was offering a FREE Best of Box, either in the Women’s, Mens or Mom’s category. Although I did have to pay a shipping fee of $8, I definitely got my moneys worth back and more!

I was skeptical at first because I have seen some rave reviews and then some where they received duplicate items, tiny samples, etc. However, I think KlutchClub really stepped it up this month and I liked almost all of the included items!

First off, the packaging is pretty cool. It’s like this secret drawer compartment, where you have to open the side, then slide the inner box out of the outer box. Am I confusing you yet? Check out this image for a better reference!

So, once I slide the box out, I began picking through the items to see what they had sent me! Because it was quite the variety and a fairly large box, I grouped some items together to make it easier (rather than a never-ending post).

So first up, we have Immuno Gum! I thought this was just a pack of minty gum at first, but after reading into it, noticed that it contained all these great immune-boosting ingredients such as Zinc, Vitamin C, Echinacea, Elderberry, Siberian Ginseng, and Astragalus. They recommend to chew one a day in place of regular gum, or if you’re feeling down or like you’re getting sick, to chew two a day.

Next, is Dream Water. This product sounds scary and intriguing all at the same time.  In the flavor “Snoozeberry,” this clever product is meant to be taken 30 minutes before bed, to ensure a more peaceful and easy sleep that night. It contains GABA, which reduces anxiety, Melatonin, which regulates sleep naturally and 5-HTP which stimulates melatonin. I’ve taken Melatonin as is before, so I’m willing to try this out!

And now we have Allergease. These allergy-soothing throat lozenges are supposed to serve as an alternative to the drowsy Benadryl and Claritin, or just give that extra kick if you need it. I don’t really have allergies, but I definitely want to try these when I’m playing with Bella, K’s cat, as she can make my eyes itchy after a while.

These two full size items are new to me, yet definitely will go to good use. Tea of a Kind is a a Citrus-Mint Green Tea that you’re supposed to drink cold and is full of antioxidants and natural ingredients. It apparently has this cool gizmo-top, where when you twist it, it infuses the clear bottle with the tea mixture, which keeps it fresh.

The Coromega 3 Big Squeeze in Lemon Nectar is a big, 16 oz. eco-friendly packaged nectar that has 3,000 mg of fish oil per serving. It is supposed to serve as an alternative to taking fish oil pills, which often make your breath smell terrible and can be a pain to take. They recommend you blend a spoonful of this into yogurt, a drink, dessert, or just consume as is. I have yet to try it and I’m a bit nervous that I’ll end up with a fishy-lemony aftertaste, but who knows!?

Okay, so these items are a bit interesting… If you’ve ever heard of Luminosity, I got a free 1 month trial to it, which is pretty cool. I think I might actually try to set up one of my parents with it so they can ‘refresh their memory and mind’ as I’m always running around or busy blogging! It seems like an interesting concept and I’ve heard good things so far.

This Turbofire Greatest Hits workout DVD is actually part of the BeachBody/Shakeology program, which a few of my friends do. It’s supposed to be a bonus item you get after purchasing a certain amount of products or reaching your goal, so I’m happy I got it without having to do any of that! Now I just need to find the time and space in my living room to try it out.

So, this item…. Was odd. I am not really sold on the Celtic Lounge II cd, which is supposed to be an array of soothing celtic songs. The cover and everything just turns me off, and reminds me of the movie Troll 2.

Now, onto some food items… I received a package of Hemp Hearts, which I have been seeing everywhere lately! Just yesterday, I opened up my friend’s refrigerator to see a huge pack just sitting there. They are a rich source of nutrition, putting them in the “superfoods” category. Hemp hearts typically contain 33 percent protein, 9 percent omega-3 essential fatty acids, and are an excellent source of iron, vitamin E and GLA. Everyone uses it differently- I prefer to grind them up in the blender to a flour-like texture and use in pancakes or oatmeal. I just used them, along with flaxseed to make killer blueberry pancakes the other day!

The other package is of CrunchMaster Multi-Seed Crackers, which seem like a new alternative to the usual crackers/chips. I was a little disappointed that my package came a little banged up, and so most of the crackers are broken, however I’ll give it a try for flavor and since they are whole-wheat, cholesterol and trans fat free.

Finally, we have SoyJoy bars! These two bars came in Cranberry and Chocolate Cherry, so that I can sample a fruity one and a chocolately one. I have received these products in other boxes before, and so it’s nothing new to me. They have an interesting texture, but they’re good for an on-the-go snack in place of a protein bar or chips.

So, here is the whole set! I got my box for free (just paid $8 shipping) and right now they currently have a deal for a Best of Box for only $1 (and $8 shipping) if you order by August 15th! Use code ZZSIDEWALKSALE to get it!

xo, Kenzie
