So, I know this is a little delayed, however I still wanted to get it up and posted! The February Boxycharm theme was “Kisses from Boxycharm” and definitely had a mix of hearts, pink and red items and an overall pampering theme. I was definitely excited after seeing some of the spoilers…
First up, we have a Modern Minerals Duo Fiber Mini Round Brush ($15 value). This little makeup brush is for eyeshadow and can best be used for creating smokey eye looks or blending colors.
Next up is Mullein & Sparrow’s Mini Facial Mask ($15 value). I love the packaging/little bottle that this comes in! It reminds me of a message in a bottle. I’ve never heard of the brand before, but this item seems pretty cool. You mix the dry clay mask powder with a little bit of water and it helps to open and clear pores and leave you with smooth, clean skin.
This NCLA “Heart Attack” Nail Polish ($16 value) really fits within the Valentine’s Day/February theme. This is a clear polish that has pink and red glitter hearts throughout it. I think it would look great over a pale pink polish. Only downside is that it’s really hard to actually get the glitter hearts out.
Jing Ai Velvet Shine Lip Jewel ($22 value) is a beautiful, bright pinkish-red lip crayon that goes on smoothly, lasts long and feels moisturizing. I’m a big fan of “lip crayons” and this one is no exception!
Mistura Beauty Solutions C-2-P Complexion Corrector ($36.99 CDN value) unfortunately came broken in my box, completely separated at the base. It’s a tad darker than I would normally use, but may be able to use on blemishes with a brush. Upon contacting Boxycharm, it seemed like a lot of people had issues with this product being broken, and while they couldn’t replace it, they gave me extra charms, which can be redeemed for full-size items.
All in all, this Boxycharm was worth over $100! Although I’m not a nail polish person (I just have way too many), I liked the NCLA heart glitter polish, and I loved the mini facial mask powder. The concealer stick was a little dark and also came broken (I stuck it back in to make for a good picture!), so that was a bummer, but all in all, this box was a winner in my eyes.
