Usually when shopping for a new handbag, I immediately go toward the neutrals: black, tan and camel, the ones that match almost every outfit. However, I’ve been noticing these beautiful, soft pastel-colored bags emerging as the Spring is approaching.

In shades such as robins egg blue and baby pink, as well as creamy beige and bold aqua, I reminisce to my younger days, wearing Easter Sunday dresses, hunting for Easter eggs and putting flowers in my hair. While the colors are sweet and innocent as those memories, the structure and accents to these bags make them sophisticated and edgy, perfect to be worn with either a contrasting business-casual dress, or alongside a light skater skirt and chiffon top.

My favorites come from brands like Kate Spade, Rebecca Minkoff, Michael Kors and more! Personally, my eyes are set on the Rebecca Minkoff Amorous Saffiano Satchel Bag in a light mint green shade (top left), but they’re all such stunning choices.
