Ipsy is one of my favorite, affordable, monthly beauty subscription boxes. Each month (for $10 + tax!) you get a variety of full-size, deluxe-size and sample-size hair, makeup, nail and skincare products, all wrapped up in an awesome makeup bag. This month the theme was “Hot Summer Nights” and to go along with that, I (along with other Ipsy subscribers) received a silver holographic bag with a umbrella/candy print across it!

First we have Mellow Cosmetics Baked Eyeshadow in Coco (full size!) While I’ve never heard of this brand before, and actually thought it was a blush/bronzer, as it’s a brownish-mauve color, I tried it out and loved the strong pigmentation of it! It has a subtle, light shimmer, and I think would be perfect for any eye colors, and will give a great pop to my green eyes!

Shray Queen Bee Mask and Shray Ms. Amazing Mask (full size/one use each) Next up are these great sheet masks! This sheet mask, properly named Queen Bee, is infused with honey and meant for treating acne and redness. The Ms. Amazing mask is focused on moisturizing and hydrating dry, sensitive skin. This mask helps to retain water, plump skin surface, ligthen pores and accelerate cell renewal. Both masks are super lightweight (compared to some heavier sheet masks out there), non-sticky and made my skin feel amazing after using!

Next up is bareMinerals Gen Nude Matte Liquid Lipcolor in Swag (travel size). I’m already a huge ban of bareMinerals, especially their lip colors, so this was probably my favorite item in this subscription. This is my favorite discovery in the box! This swag color is a super wearable mauve, and I love the formula, too. It has a chocolate cake batter scent, goes on so smoothly, and the matte finish isn’t nearly as drying as some matte lip products I’ve tried. I ended up applying a clear lip balm over it for a little extra moisture, though.

Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish in No Filter (full size) is the perfect nude with a pop of color. In the summer, I love painting my nails aqua blue, neon pink and perfect lilac purple, however, I regularly opt for neutral tones such as a gray, nude or pale pink for my day-to-day routine. This is a perfect nude shade with a purple-gray undertone, and  best of all it’s vegan and cruelty-free!

Finally, we have Not Soap, Radio Joy Inducing Hand/Body Lotion (travel size). I’ll be honest-I’m not really a hand cream kinda person-however the smell of this lotion is fresh and delicious in a lemon-sugar scent.

Overall, this month’s Ipsy had a variety of awesome products, well worth $40+ when I only had to pay $10 for it! My favorite items were definitely the bareMinerals lipcolor and Shray face masks, however I know I’ll be using all of this items in here.
