JackPacked ~ February

image

I’m always excited when my JackedPack arrives, because it comes with a clever name like Mackenzie “Muscles” Degen or one of many variations. It’s just those little unique things that makes me appreciate a company. Unfortunately, with snowstorms and a shorter month, my pack arrived right at the end of the month, so my review is a bit delayed…

They include information cards with the included products, along with a quote such as “Whatever the mind of a man can conceive and believe, it can achieve” by Napoleon Hill.

First up, we have 3 samples of Cellucor C4 Extreme! This advanced Pre-Workout formula has received high praise and reviews for its increased energy and focus while working out, and I’m already a fan of the brand, so I was happy to see these (and more than 1!)

Okay, so I’ll admit, I’m a little confused by this VP2 Whey Protein Isolate. I’ve never had a “fruity” protein shake except for a strawberries-and-cream or banana peanut butter, so the flavor Citrus Splash is a little scary. I’m just hoping I can mix it with milk and greek yogurt and make it taste like a creamsicle, otherwise I’ll just be mixing it with water and mio to have a gatorade-like drink.I liked their Double Chocolate, but have to say.. Citrus Splash, thumbs down.

MRI Performance Athlete Competitive Series Beta Charge is a high intensity performance support supplement. It is stimulant-free, with all natural flavor, and helps to delay muscle fatigue and help reduce muscle soreness, while engaging muscle protein synthesis.

Next we have Lecheek Nutrition X3 Ultra Concentrated PreWorkout in Apple. I was intrigued to find it was voted #1 Preworkout Supplement by SupplementReviews.comTM! Like other pre-workouts, it’s supposed to give you the energy, stamina and strength to make the most of your workout.

If you workout like crazy and eat healthy, yet still have some fat covering your abs or other bodyparts, Vanish Fat Metabolizer may do the trick. This thermogenic helps you to burn fat while you exercise and control cravings when you need it most. It is comprised of a fat-burning matrix, euphoric matrix and appetite-control matrix, all which help increase energy, combat fatigue, reduce cravings while keeping your body balanced and healthy. I’m very pumped to try this out as I use MusclePharm Shred Matrix currently.

RSP GlutaGen is a recovery formula for post-workout. Each serving of GlutaGen contains a complete dose of L-Glutamine to support muscle recovery and a healthy immune system, plus Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine help prevent muscle catabolism during and after exercise. A lot of people forget to take in protein or a recovery drink and don’t realize that their muscles need it to grow and recover!

Finally, we have MRM All-Natural Whey in Rich Vanilla (2 Packs). I’ve never heard of this brand/product before, but upon reading up, I noticed it’s extremely love in carbs and calories and high in amino acids, so I’ll definitely be giving it a try!

All in all, I was pretty happy with this month’s JackedPack. I liked that a few of the samples came in multiples, but would like to see a protein bar or healthy snack as well (like a QuestBar to replace one of the C4 samples!), and for them to stick with sweet protein powder flavors like Cinnamon Bun, Vanilla, Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Cookie Dough, etc, rather than a sweet one like Citrus or Fruit Punch.
