Hey all! You know I loved my January Bestowed Box, and so I decided to continue it and see what the next month would hold. I love trying out new snacks and foods, especially healthier options and this is a great box for just that. Plus, you can use coupon code HELLOYUM11 to get your first box for $10 (Instead of $19)!
Here’s the first look into the box!
As usual, there is a very detailed mini booklet containing information about the different products, a note from Heather and recipe ideas. I definitely like the time and effort that goes into making this.
For example, she gave this great breakdown of how to be a smart snacker!
So, first up we have this Bakery on Main Carrot Cake Oatmeal! Even without this parfait recipe card that was included, my mouth was watering at the thought of this. Carrot cake COMBINED with oatmeal? You can guess this was the first thing eaten from my February Box. Definitely looking into either re-ordering or creating my own with shaved carrots, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar!
Next we have a Santa Barbara Bar in Coconut Almond. I am quite fond of the ingredient list as most the items as the entire list is made up of healthy, natural options. Check it out for yourself: almonds, brown rice syrup, whey crisps, gluten free oats, raisins, pumpkin seeds, coconut, dates, brown rice syrup solids, chicory fiber, honey, chia seeds, cashews, sunflower lecithin, natural flavors, oat flour, sea salt. While I’m not overly obsessed with coconut, I think this had a nice flavor to it and would be interested in trying out other flavors like Peanut Chocolate Cherry!
Next we have Herbal Philosophy Feel Beautiful Tea. I love tea, especially blends with green, white or black, and items like flowers and dried fruit. I haven’t tried this one yet, but I’m looking forward to it, as I can already smell the minty-ness of it and love trying out teas that claim they enhance beauty or weight loss.
Next up is this bag of R.W. Garcia MixtBag Yellow & Blue Corn Tortilla Chips – These were on top of the box/the first item I noticed and I was pumped because it’s a combination of yellow & blue corn chips! I already love tortilla chips and so these were a nice change and tasted great with black bean salsa!
I was also excited to see these Wholly Granolly Clusters in two flavors: Double Chocolate Chip and Peanut Butter Pretzel. To start, awesome flavor combinations… definitely my favorites! They kind-of remind me of rice krispies meets oatmeal/granola meets a cookie!
I just died and went to chocolate bar heaven after having one of these Unreal Candy The Smooth One Bars… Holy yum. This bar is a combo of chocolate, caramel, and nougat, similar to a 3 Musketeers with caramel on it! It’s GMO-free and gluten-free (for candy, this is pretty cool!) and ridiculously chocolately and delicious. Please.. someone buy me more.
All in all, I was really happy with my February Bestowed Box. I loooved the Unreal Chocolates, Carrot Cake Oats and Granola Clusters the most. Oftentimes, I don’t re-buy items from my subscription boxes, but these really have me in a daze and considering buying more! In general, though, I felt like most of these were ‘guilty’ foods like candy/dessert/chocolate/snacks and so I would like to see a few more options like in the sour, salty or savory categories every once in a while. Also, I really liked how we got coupons for free items in our January Bestowed Box(es) and definitely encourage them to throw some in every now and then.

The Santa Barbara bar sounds delish! And you could always use the tea for a facial steam if you don’t end up drinking it.
