My Kate Spade Saturday BirchBox has arrived! I was semi excited to receive it, based on what my showroom was displaying, but wanted to wait until I got it in person to decide.
The actual box was the same as usual… here’s the first look below!
The packaging was cute- a royal blue and bright lemon yellow theme, of course with an information card in tow.
Best of all, they included a $25 off coupon for Kate Spade Saturday.
Now, onto the goodies…
First up, we have SuperGoop! Everyday SPF 30 with Cellular Response Technology, which is a mini sunscreen sample. I’ve used a few Supergoop! products in the past and they have good quality sunscreens, but I’m not a fan of the lotions.
Next, we have Perlier Body Cream which smells delightful and is soft and moisturizing. I already own a ton of lotions and moisturizers so I don’t see myself repurchasing however.
Here we have a Cynthia Rowley Silver Eyeliner Pencil. It glides on smooth and shiny, however, since it’s silver, it is the type that needs to be saved for a special occasion. I would have preferred a black, teal, purple or green, but will find a use for this one.
Kerastase is an expensive, high-end hair product brand that has various products to help you obtain smooth, voluminous and beautiful hair. I wish these Kerastase Cristal Shampoo and Conditioner samples were a bit bigger than foil packets (like mini bottles) so I could try them more than once, however it’s nice to see a quality brand like this.
Finally, we have a Noya Lip Gloss in Summertime Peach. While the color is pretty cute, it is SO tiny… like I think if I put it in my pocket, I might lose it. I wish it was a tad bigger, but in terms of testing it out: color is a nice springy pink and it seems to be an inbetween of a lipstick and a gloss.
Here’s the full set of items in my May Birchbox! This was an in-between box for me… I didn’t love it, but I didn’t hate it. I enjoyed trying out the Kerastase samples and Noya lip gloss, as well as the nice-sized Cynthia Rowley eyeliner pencil, however I wasn’t a fan of the color, or of the two lotions.
