So this cute, simple brown box arrived at my door toward the end of August and I almost forgot that I was getting it, so of course I was excited. Plus, it was my first The Pleasure Pantry Subscription Box and I had no idea what to expect.
Before I go any further, I just want to say this box is awesome, but it is rated XXX, MA-17, Not Suitable for Work, Family Members or Kids. Please view with an open mind 🙂
You’re being quite daring if you continue…
Okay, if you say so!
The Pleasure Pantry is a sex/relationship-themed box, filled with toys and products that are supposed to help you get a little out of the box and experience new things. One thing I really liked is that there are different options for all types of couples: straight, gay, lesbian, bridal. Many other sex/intimacy boxes do not offer this option, and so I definitely added that to my pro-list. They send out this monthly box to you for only $29 per month (or $34 per month for a 3-month trial or gift) which is a great price in comparison to some of the other companies out there.
Next, you get to put in a ‘personal profile’ where you tell them a little bit about yourself, what you like/dislike and if you want the rated R or XXX box. For reviewing reasons and to be a little crazy, I went with the XXX Box. I think myself to be pretty adventurous, so I tried some of the products, however others have not personally been tested. My goal is to show you the entire package/subscription box and how all the items work together, and you can be the judge of which box you’d like to choose. So onto the good stuff!
My box arrived with this cute burlap bag containing all the products…
We’ll start with the more PG-13 Items and then move onto the others.
This product is too funny… it’s a chapstick-shaped tube called Nipple Nibblers, in the flavor Luscious Melons. You’re supposed to rub it on your body wherever you want someone to lick it off. I keep accidentally putting it into my purse like it’s a chapstick, but luckily haven’t tried to apply it in public by mistake!
Tingle Gel is an arousal gel in a minty flavor (edible!) that is supposed to help to get you in the mood and rev up your night! It’s a fairly large bottle which was nice to see, rather than a sample pack. In general, I would opt for something fruity like Strawberry or Peach rather than mint in terms of flavor, but when you think of tingly, you tend to think of mint.
A bottle of Universal Toy Cleaner can definitely come in handy for any products that you have. Not only can it be used with some other items (listed below) in the box, but it’s a big enough bottle that it’ll last you a while and keep you clean. Just don’t mistake it for aerosol room or hairspray!
Now, we get to the XXX section… Now, I just ask you, my lovely readers, don’t judge if it’s just not your thing. Family members, I recommend not to continue, but Friends, read on and enjoy!
These bright 10x Beads were included within the box, and I’m sure you have somewhat of an idea what they’re used for. While I have not personally tried them out, friends have told me from their own experiences that they give this type of item an A+.
And of course, to go with the beads is a bottle of lube! This stuff is super sticky and glossy, and definitely fits it’s name.
So, what do you all think? Have you tried out The Pleasure Pantry for yourself yet?
