I am a bit obsessed with bath and shower goods, whether it be body scrubs, bath melts, bubble bars, foaming body wash… the list goes on and on. So, when Sudz & Scrubz reached out to me regarding their April Shower Box, I was more than excited to receive it, test it out and review it!
Sudz & Scrubz is a monthly subscription box ($29.99 per month) company, focused on delivering the best (and most fun) bath, shower and body products directly to your door. Whether you like taking showers or baths, there are definitely products you will love.
So, let’s get to it!
First up, we have the soaps! This Salted Rim Margarita Body Soap is right up my alley. I love soaps, and I love margaritas, so it was a win-win situation. This fresh, fruity bar is perfect as the warm weather is approaching, making me feel as though I’m on vacation while cleansing my body. I could definitely see myself purchasing this in the future for friends!
This Exfoliating Charcoal Face Soap might not be the prettiest color, but I know that charcoal is great for skin (clearing pores, fighting acne, etc) so I was definitely happy to see it. I’ve used other brands in the past and this bar looks like it can last me quite a while, so that’s a perk.
They included a Wooden Soap Block, which is helpful, as it stops bars from “melting” and sticking on your bath and shower surfaces, and usually makes them last longer. The water drains through the grates, allowing it to dry more quickly in between showers.
Next up we have the Sinus Clearing Eucalyptus Shower Steamers, which were so necessarily this past week. I’ve been fighting off a tough cough and cold, and for days I couldn’t seem to shake it. So, I did as recommended, and took a lot of hot showers and baths, hoping it would help! I used one of these shower steamers during a shower, propped on a soap ledge in my shower, and it released a great minty-herbal scent.
This Ooey Gooey Vanilla Sugar Scrub was one of my favorite items. Unlike many scrubs which are rough and harsh, this scrub was the perfect combination of scrub and cleanser. It comes in a pretty large container (which is always great) so it will last quite a bit. It smells amazing, like you’re rubbing cinnamon buns all over your body, and leaves your skin soft and smooth!
Finally, we have the After Shower Lavenwood Healing Butter. This tub of thick, luscious lotion can be used sparingly, meaning it will last quite a while. The combination of lavender and cedar wood is calming and natural, even though I’m not a huge fan of lavender. After scrubbing and washing in the shower or bath, you can apply this either all over your body or specifically to areas that tend to dry out quickly, like elbows, cuticles, knees, etc.
All in all, I thought this Sudz & Scrubz Shower Box was an amazing bath and body subscription box! This would make a great gift for someone who needs some pampering, especially based on its variety of products and scents. I can see myself using almost all of the products, and even considering subbing directly from their store or purchasing a few bath and shower items every now and then. I have my eyes on their Matcha Face Mask and Bubble Bars/Bath Truffles…
