JackedPack ~ March

image

So, a few of my reviews are on the late-end this month, but are still filled with amazing goodies! My JackedPack arrived and I was just getting ready to goto the gym, so I was excited to see what workout supplements and products would be included for me to try out.

As per usual, they included a post-card sized information card with details on the included products.

First up, we have a PROMAX Pro Series Peanut Butter Crisp bar. Don’t mind its size, this little bar is jam-packed with 28 grams of protein and is free of gelatin, gluten, Maltitol and artificial sweeteners.

Next up is a brand new (to me) brand called Slap Nutrition. Made with only 5 ingredients: Whey protein isolate, Cocoa, Natural Flavors, Xantham Gum, and Stevia, this “Chocolate Slap” flavored protein powder is simple, to-the-point and filled with 25 grams of cold processed, micro filtered 100% whey protein isolate. Plus, it’s only 100 calories, 0 sugar, lactose, gluten and hormone-free!

These packets of Inner Armour BCAA are used to build muscle and aid in muscle recovery. Packed with BCAA’s, Leucine and Glutamine (filler-free), this is perfect for a post-workout drink.

BSN Isoburn is a metabolic-activating whey isolate blend. Unlike a typical whey protein, this Vanilla Ice Cream-flavored mix includes 20 grams of protein, plus L-Carnitine, Lepticore & Green Coffee Extract to add an extra ‘fat burn’ to your usual protein shake.

Finally, we have AST AR-5 , an amino acid muscle energizing formula that is designed to promote more power, stimulant-free energy, faster between set recuperation, and overall better workout recovery and muscle growth.

Next to that is a pre-workout called RSP Fast Fuel, which is designed to build lean muscle, has a full BCAA profile, Beta Alanine and Glutamine, and claims to be crash-free. I’ve actually tried it before and it’s not my favorite, but it definitely gives you more energy to workout.

All in all, I wasn’t overly smitten with my JackedPack, however it had a nice variety of items from whey protein powders to pre-workouts and recovery formulas. I’d like to see more unique flavors like cinnamon bun, strawberry or cookie dough protein powder (rather than chocolate/vanilla/banana), protein bars like Quest and Zing, and some newer or less-repeated brands.
